Me

Today was my due date! I am so happy that he came before today! Could you imagine how big he would have been if he had 11 more days to add weight on?

I am feeling great! I feel completely normal except my flabby belly! I decided that I had had enough of being cooped up in the house, so today I took Brady to the doctors and Eric took Morgin to the gym. After Brady's doctor appointment I headed into school to see my room. BIG MISTAKE! Because it was a complete disaster! I felt so bad for my sub having to organize the mess...but I am on leave and enjoying my time off so I left after I helped her for a bit. After I went to school I decided that it was time for a family outing so we headed to the mall. It was great to get out of the house and it really helped my state of mind!

On another note I put away all of my maternity clothes...it was bitter sweet..on one had I never have to wear them again and on the other I never will wear them again! This was sad for me because I really enjoyed being pregnant....but we have the perfect family now!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning everyone came to our house to watch Morgin open her gifts. It was really great! Morgin kept saying, "This is the best day ever!!" She must have said it 100 times throughout the day. After the gifts were finished Eric's Dad did his yearly tradition of making omelets for everyone. Meanwhile Morgin was digging into all of her presents and asking each one of us to open a box. She went from person to person with a toy to open. It was super cute!

Opening gifts

After everyone left we had to hurry up and get dressed (it is a lot harder to get 4 people dressed and out the door than it was to get 3!!) and headed to Wellesley Island for lunch with my grandma and grandpa.

Everything was "Awesome!"

After lunch we headed to my NaNa and PaPa's so that they could meet our little man! Then we came home and put in a movie for Morgin so that she could settle down for a bit (since she didn't get a nap) and then we headed next door to my mom's for another Christmas and dinner. It was a super busy day...but as Morgin says "It was the best day ever!!!"

Morgin got her helmet on and asked what it was for

We made her stand in front of the tree and Eric went and got it (Check out her face!)

Her new Bike!

First Family of 4 Photo

It only took us a week to get but here it is!!! Our first family photo!
(I look really tired! But everyone else looks great!)

Brady Boy's First Bath

Brady had his first sponge bath that day we got home from the hospital. He hated it!!! He screamed and screamed and as soon as I finished getting him dressed he was all better and stopped crying. Each day has been better and better for the whole sponge bath thing. Hopefully his cord will fall off soon and he can have a real bath!

My Christmas Tree

Our "topless" tree

This spring we had a somewhat major disaster in our basement. Due to the rain and etc we had a leak in the basement that happened to leak on my box of Christmas ornaments and stuff. So needless to say I had to buy a lot of new ornaments. One thing that got ruined was my star for the top of the tree. I searched and searched for a new star or angel that I liked and seeing that I am sooo picky I found not a thing that I liked. So our tree was topless...That was until I had the baby and people started coming over to see him and commenting on the fact that my tree had no top. So I got creative and here is what I did.....

I made a paper star for the top!

Now nobody could say a word about my tree being "topless"!!!!

Surreal!

This morning I was checking my email and throughout my whole pregnancy I got weekly updates according to how many weeks pregnant I was. I opened my email and it said, "You are now 39 Weeks Pregnant!" I was shocked to think that I could have been still pregnant! There are still 6 more days until my due date! It;s kind of cool to go early! With Morgin I was a day early but does that really count for being early?

In other news, Sunday night was a horrible night...Brady was up and SCREAMING for 4 hours! I think that he had gas and was miserable. Eric and I were quite the team. He could sense when I was getting frustrated and sleepy and he took over and I could sense when he was getting frustrated and sleepy and I would take over. I am so thankful to have such a WONDERFUL man to share my life with! If that weren't enough, at 4:00 am Morgin woke up screaming as well. She had a bad "movie" as she called it. (a bad dream) I got her settled and Brady finally settled and we were all sleeping for 2 more hours!

Last night was great. Brady only got up 2 times. The first at 12 and the second at 5! We are pretty lucky! Now I only wish that Morgin would sleep until 7 like she used to!

Only 2 more days until Christmas!

Life with 2 Children!

When I was pregnant and thought about how hard it may be to be a Mommy of 2, I was wrong. It is not as hard as I thought it would be (so far!!!). I am really enjoying my family and loving every moment!

Brady is doing great! We went to the pediatricians this AM and he is recovering nicely from his broken collar bone. We had a little scare because he looked really yellow. They did a blood test and it was good!

Morgin is loving being a BIG sister. She has to give him kisses and hugs all day long! She has been surprisingly very good with this new adjustment. We have been very careful to spend time with her and she seems to be taking to her new role nicely! Yesterday, Morgin and I even went to the mall to do some last minute shopping for Christmas. It was nice to get out but half way through the mall I felt sooooo tired! I did end up getting everything that I needed to but was ready to crash as soon as I got home!

He was born on Thursday December 18th, 2008 at 11:19PM. He weighed in at an astounding 9 lbs 11 oz! and was 22 3/4 inches long!
He is a good boy! He has had a traumatic start at life! During birth he broke his collar bone. The doctor expects him to make a full recovery! On top of that we had him circumcised. Even though he has went through all of that he is a very content little boy and hardly ever cries!

Brady Breech??

Well I had a Dr appointment today and I was telling her my concern that he doesn't move as much as he used to and it feels different. So she put me on the monitor and he looked great! After the monitor she decided to do a quick ultrasound to make sure he was in good position and etc. Well that little bugger decided that he wanted to flip over and is now in the breech position. We talked about our options and decided that it was best to try and move him and be induced on Thursday. So on Thursday I am going in to have an external version done and depending on how he responds either be induced or have a c-section. I am nervous, happy and ready to be a mommy again! Keep us in your prayers that he will flip over and come out with no complications!

2 weeks to go!!

I cannot believe how fast the past 2 months have gone. I am hoping that the next two weeks go just as fast! I am so ready for our son to bless our lives that every time I have a Braxton Hicks Contraction I think...is this it??? Which it turns out not to be! I kind of wish that I didn't know I was 3 cm dilated_It makes me think that labor should begin anytime now but realistically it could be 4 weeks from now! Who know? The only one that knows is that precious baby in my tummy! I just hope he comes into our lives sooner than later ( i am having a hard time sleeping!)

Whatever that means......

So I had a Dr appt. yesterday and I asked the midwife to check me to see if there is any progress yet or if I should count on him being late! Well she checked me and I am 2-3 CM dilated and 70% effaced! Well that means he could come today or 3 weeks from now!

So I have taken to walking the mall at night and standing on my feet as much as possible at school and to coaching him on coming out sooner than later!

So keep us in your thoughts and prayers that he comes sooner than later! My big ole boy! lol!

Decorating the Tree

Standing by the Finished Product
Putting on Her Dora Ornament

We put up our Christmas Tree today. It was a lot of fun...even though because of the leak in the basement we had to salvage what we could of the ornaments and buy all new lights and bulbs and garland. Eric and I decided to put the tree up while Morgin was napping. When she got up we put up the rest of the decorations. She really enjoyed it but now we have a never ending battle for her to keep her hands off of the tree! She loves to kiss it!

2nd Annual Starbuck Xmas Party

Eric and his drinking Buddy

I again this year was in charge of planning the Christmas Party for our building. I was again not to thrilled about this at all. I hate having to hound people for money, picking a date that will fit into every ones schedule and choosing the venue. This year I choose Ramada and it was a wonderful time! The food was good, the company was even better, and I think everyone had a great time!

My friend Amy and I (Both of us pregnant with baby boys!)

One of the Most embarassing Moments of my life!

I was very fortunate to have a shower thrown for me from two of te greatest people I have ever worked with. Jill and Barb decided that they wanted to throw a shower for me...but they insisted that I invite some of my family and close friends. I did and we made out great for Brady! I am soo blessed to have such wonderful people in my life! Thank you to all that made that day sooo special for me!

See the Difference??

Here I am 40 Weeks Pregnant for Morgin

End of Pregnancy Woes

As I enter the 37th week of my last pregnancy I have a lot of mixed emotions. I am very excited about the fact that we are going to have a son! I am very nervous that my water will break since it didn't last time. I am nervous about the delivery. I am also very sad that this is the last time I will feel a full-term baby move inside me, and never have anybody wait on me hand and foot again.

Here is what I have been feeling. Lots and lots of back pain. Inability to walk fast and without waddling. I am also unable to move on my own very good anymore. I have been craving sweets but since he is measuring so big they told me to cut out sweets. This has been very hard for me to do so when I have the baby I have given Eric very specific instructions to buy me a turkey sub from Jreck's, a HUGE Mountain Dew, and a bag of candy! I am also nervous how Morgin is going to take the new addition to our family!

I am ready to be a mom to an infant again and can't wait for him to enter the world and be a part of our family.

ANY DAY NOW!!!

First Snowman

Getting Geared up to go outside!
Helping Daddy make a "Huge snowball"

Digging in the snow

Morgin's First Snowman

Morgin and Daddy went outside the other day to build Morgin's first snowman. She wanted to make a "me size" snowman. It is really great that she now enjoys the snow. Last year I would take her out and she hated to put her hands in it, wanted me to carry her through the snow, and cried if she got snow on her face. This year she is just the right height that her little legs can plow through the snow and she actually can walk in it! She had so much fun!

The Cake
Kaedin Came too!!
The Mommy's Relaxing!!!

Opening Presents
We had Morgin's birthday party for her friends at Kidnastics. It was sooo nice for me because I didn't have to clean the house...worry about entertaining 10 kids and it gave the kids something fun to do. I really enjoyed it and most importantly so did Morgin. All of her closest friends came to celebrate with her. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends. Thank you to everyone that came to make Morgin's 3rd birthday special for her!

Morgin's 3rd Birthday Party #1

She had a blast opening the Cards!!!
and her presents!!

Here is the cake!
Here is the rundown in photo story of Morgin's birthday party with the family. She had to open presents first because As everyone started coming in she kept getting more and more excited about them. We tried as hard as we could to her wait but she wouldn't get off of my lap and talk to anyone because she is "too shy." After we opened the presents we ate and did the cake thing. It was a lot of fun and she still had her party with her friends to come!

My favorite

My favorite thing that we have bought for Brady thus far is his miniature Mets hat! I can't wait to get a picture with him and his daddy wearing their Mets hats! It is pretty cool that Eric can share his love of the Mets with someone else! (Morgin likes the Mets but will not wear a hat for anything!)

Brady Update

Last week I had a Dr appt and the dr measured my belly and was concerned that I was measuring 35 weeks when I was only 32 weeks. She ordered an ultrasound and I went in for the ultrasound on Tuesday. Brady is a healthy as a horse! Which is great! The only problem is that he is measuring as big as a baby should when they are 38 weeks gestation! I am only 33 weeks!!! We are going to have a BIG boy! I am hoping to have him earlier than expected as I was really scared when they measured his head and was the size of a 38 week baby already! I also do not want a c-section so the earlier he comes the better for me!!!!!! But like I said he is healthy and that is all that matters!

Morgin has been a bit sick and the stress of finding a sitter for the past two weeks has started to get to me! On Monday, Lori comes back...so I am relieved about that as well! Only 6 more days until Morgin's 3rd Birthday!!!

10 Years!!

Eric and I have been together 10 years! We started dating November 6, 1998!! I cannot believe how much has changes over the past 10 years! It has been the greatest 10 years of my life!! I look forward to many more 10 years to come!!!

No More Mom and Tot!!!!!

Morgin started swim lessons a couple of weeks ago. Ever since she was 1 we have been doing the Mom and Tot swim classes....but know that she is almost 3 we enrolled her in the 1a class. This means that she goes in the water by herself! I love it! I no longer have to worry about getting my huge belly into a bathing suit! Morgin really enjoyed it too! She still doesn't like getting her face wet but we have been working hard to get her over this fear! She is doing great!

Check out the look of determination!!!

Pumpkin Carving!!

Morgin had her first pumpkin carving experience where she actually understood what to do. We carved 2 of the 4 pumpkins that we bought for our family of 4!! She loved it...but she wouldn't put her hands in it because it was, "EWWWW, GROSS!Scooping out the guts!
Here is Daddy's final product!

It was a great family fun night! I am so excited that my little girl shares my love for Halloween! She is sometimes just like me.... it is kind of scary!

She posed herself with the pumpkins!!
