Can you believe Brady is 2 months old already? I can't...but here is an update as to how the last month has gone! Brady has become quite the smiley boy! He loves to smile at Morgin the most...I think he thinks she nuts! He celebrated his first Valentine's Day and was also Baptised! He weighs 12 lbs and 12 oz and is 24 3/4 inches long. He is awake and alert a lot during the day and is sleeping great at night!

Wondering???
When Eric and I first got married we would sleep in to like 10 or 11 am. Now that we have kids we are up at 6 or 7. Even when we can sleep in we are up at 8....bright eyed and bushy-tailed!
Today we are heading to the mall to get Brady's 2 month pictures taken and later this evening my mom is coming over to watch the kids while we go out to eat with my friend Lizzy and her husband Nick. I am super excited to see her...it has been a long time and she is 37 weeks pregnant with a little girl and I haven't seen her since she was like 10 weeks pregnant!
Tomorrow is Brady's 2 month appointment where he gets a ton of shots! Boo!

Final Day!!!
Today is my official final day of Maternity leave. I have a ton of mixed feelings about going back. I am excited to get back into the swing of things again. I am nervous that I will not be able to juggle everything (school and home). On the other hand I am sad that I have to leave my babies=( I sure will miss them very much!
Status Update:
Morgin is feeling much better. She woke up last night at 11:15 and vomited again. The she slept until 3:30 when I heard little footsteps down stairs. She was down here looking for her blanket, which was in her bed. I got her back to bed and guess who woke up? Yup Brady. He fell back to sleep very quickly and so did Morgin and then they were both up 5:30. I fed Brady, got Morgin to go to the bathroom and gave her some more Tylenol and then she fell back to sleep and so did Brady and I and we all got up at 9!!! I had to really rush around and get 2 kids ready and out the door to Morgin's ENT appointment, which was at 10!! But we all managed and I even gave Brady a bath!
Eric comes home tonight and I am back at work in the AM!!

Brady's Baptism
On Sunday we had Brady baptized at Asbury Church. It was a wonderful ceremony and all of our family were there to celebrate! We had a blast! The ceremony went really well and Brady didn't cry when the Holy Water was placed on his forehead (We are 2 for 2...Morgin didn't cry either!) After church was over we all headed back to our house for some baked ziti, salad and bread. After we all ate we had a really good cake! It was a great day and we are super blessed!
Ps. Read my other blog's from this am!
Quote of the day
I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.......I just wish he didn't trust me so much.
My morning thus far
So here is a snap shot of how my first morning without Eric here has gone.
Picture this.......It is now 5:15 in morning and I awake to Brady squirming and grunting. I look at the clock and am over joyed that he has slept through the night ?(almost!) He went to bed at 9:30 and got up at 5:15! I was super excited and so I fly down the stairs to get a bottle and go to the bathroom before he really awakes and is screaming. As I am going to the bathroom I feel the all too familiar feel of UTI coming on. First strike!
So I head back upstairs, bottle in tow. As I reach my room I realize that Brady has fallen back asleep. YAY!! Maybe I can get a couple more minutes of shut eye! Just as I lay down and shut my eyes, I hear Morgin's door fly open. I run to the door thinking there is no way in hell that she is going to get up this early! I ask her what is wrong and she tells me that she wants to go down stairs. I tell her no and coax her back to bed. I go into my room and smell Brady had a BM. As I am picking him up to change him I hear Morgin scream and then start to throw up! Second Strike!
I put Brady in his bassinet and run to my daughters side. She has thankfully thrown up in her blanket and is holding it to her head so that she will not get it on the floor. Good girl. I strip her sheets and in the mean time Brady has started screaming at the top of his lungs. Third strike!
I carry Morgin down stairs and make her sit in the bathroom and I run back upstairs and grab Brady really quick, run back down stairs to get Morgin all cleaned up.
I finally get everyone taken care of...Morgin cleaned up, sheets and blankets in the washer and Brady changed and can finally feed Brady (poor boy!) We all lay down in mine and Eric's bed and Brady is eating and Morgin throws up again but thankfully she threw up in the bucket (no mess!)
This is my morning so far! I have realized that I can handle ANYTHING that is thrown at me!
Brady is sleeping and Morgin is now laying on the couch and as for me... I am here...very tired... but my kids are worth it!

Out of the Mouths of Babes!
Today we were sitting in the living room after all the people left from Brady's baptism. Amanda was sitting next to Morgin and we decided that since Morgin didn't take a nap we would put in a movie for her to sit in the couch and relax. Morgin decided on Madagascar 2. When the movie started she started laughing at something and said, "That made me funny!" Meaning that made me laugh. We all laughed at her so hard!
First Real Haircut
We took Morgin to get her first real haircut a week ago. She has gotten her hair trimmed but I never had more than an cm cut off. Well I had decided that her hair was starting to look messy and we had a hard time keeping it looking nice so I called my hair dresser and decided that I would cut off 2 inches. 2 Inches sounds like a tiny bit when you are talking about an adult but 2 inches took a lot off of her. But the great news is that it looks so much healthier than it did before. She sat through the entire hair cut without such gimmicks as a Barbie Jeep, or motorcycle. This saved us 10 dollars!!! Afterwards we headed to Stefano's for lunch! It was a great day and Morgin actually fell asleep in the car on the way home! She never does that anymore!
