Amanda brought over the brochure for her passion party next week....holy cow do people actually buy that kind of stuff?? Just wondering!

The new me!!!

Ok it all started with my new haircut...Then i started tanning and now I am going to the gym everyday to work out! It has been great working out..I really thought that I would hate it and not like to do it but quite the contrary..I enjoy it! Well today Amanda convinced me it would be "fun" to do a spinning class...I am up for anything so I said sure I'll do it with you.....big MISTAKE!!! for someone who has not worked out like ever in their whole entire life this was pure hell! I cannot walk up the stairs! Oh well...It will help me to loose some weight and maybe feel better about my situation (or cure it!)

She made it!!

Well Morgin's surgery was a success! She now has the tubes and hopefully that will help her in the future to not get anymore ear infections!


We got to the hospital at around 6:30 and we were home by 8:30. Once they took her to the OR we went to the waiting room...sat there about 5-7 minutes and then Dr. Hillerman came to talk to us and we went back to see her. It was really scary to see her that way. She was floppy and unable to walk and completely pissed off! She cried for two hours straight and when the anesthesia wore off she was back to her old self! That is all that is going on here!

Today's the day!

Morgin get tubes in her ears today!!! Her surgery is at 6:45 am and we should be home by 9:00 or 9:30! HAve a great day and we will keep you updated on how she feels!

Pop or soda????

Eric and I were having a conversation about what people call things. He said that people from Western New York call soda...pop...where here we call it soda. So this got me thinking what are other things that have 2 different names depending on where you live.

Never in all my life....

I have officially given up again!!!

I have never in all my life been so embarrassed as I was today! My sponsor teacher from student teaching and I go out for lunch once a year or more and today was that day. I always bring Morgin because she likes to see her. Well that was the biggest mistake of my life! Morgin had the WORST temper tantrum while we were eating lunch. She was screaming and carrying on so bad that I had to pack up and leave before our food came. I was so embarrassed! Everybody was staring and giving me dirty looks. It was an awful experience that I hope I never have again in my life! I feel so bad for poor Mary....I don't think that she will ever want to eat lunch with us again!

Mid-Vaction Update

Well we have tried to stay super busy! On Monday Seth came over to play with Morgin for a little bit. Then on Tuesday we have a wonderful time at Kidnastics. Morgin absolutely loved it! They are starting a Saturday class soon! I can't wait to get Morgin into the class. On MOnday night Amanda and Owen came over to play Wii...It was sooo much fun! Owen and Amanda had a wicked funny boxing match! It was so much fun that they are coming over tonight to play again! We also have Morgin's swim class tonight..it has been three weeks since we went (1 week because of snow, the next ear infection and the last because she had RSV)

Well we have one successful pee-pee on the potty today....but three wet underpants and lots of love for Miss Morgin today!!! But she has not put a diaper on all day!!!

Seth and Jen came over a playdate today...tomorrow we have kidnastics with Seth and Jacob and then nothing else the rest of the week! Hoping to keep really busy this week!

February 26th

First of all let me start off by saying...I KNOW JEN.....I have a been a very bad blogger lately with Morgin being sick and stuff I feel like I cannot catch my breath! I PROMISE TO BE BETTER!!!!

So now here is the update....Let me take you back a very long week ago! Last week on Tuseday Morgin was taken to the Dr's and sure enbough another ear infection....So that was Tuesday..On Friday, Eric took her to the sitters so that he could get things done around the house and when he picked her up she had this nasty little cough..(more to come about last Friday night below!) So we thought lets watch her and see how she does and she is on antibiotics so it can't be anything serious...boy were we wrong! Saturday she seemed fine and we hmmmed and hawed about taking her to be seen but thought we always jump to taking her to the Dr's when ever she has anything wrong so we will wait..Well Sunday AM Eric left for work and when Morgin woke up she had a temp of 102.2 and that horrible cough! So I called the DR at 8 o'clock and we couldn't get in to 2:30 so we stayed at home and my poor baby layed on the couch all day. Then we go to the Dr's and she checks her over and she thinks that it is probably the flu even though she has had a flu shot...So we get the flu test done and the Dr calls back with in the hour and now Morgin has RSV!!!!!! Can this kid get a break??? Well that is not the end of our saga for this week and our Dr's office visits. On Wednesday Morgin kept telling us that it hurt when she peed...so off we go to the DR's and now Morgin has a yeast infection...this poor child!

Now for the best news of this blog....On Thursday Morgin had an appointment with ENT and guess what she is getting TUBES put in her ears on February 26th...I was so relieved that she is finally getting taken care of!!!

Well now on to the fun stuff...Last Friday night a very dear friend turned 30... Jen. She had a get together at First National Beef and Brew and then at the Paddock Club.It was a blast. We met some really cool people and Eric had a few too many beers! It was such a great time that I will cherish the memory for years to come ( I would have to say the best part was the ride home when Jen sat in Morgin's car seat and Amanda was in the front seat, Jen, Rod and Roland in the back seat..along with Jen and Eric in the hatch of the Nitro!) It was a great evening and I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life! We also purchased a Wii...It is so much fun and Eric and I play it non stop!

Yesterday I decided on a whim that I was going to get my hair cut and colored..so when I got there my hairdresser convinces me to go RED..It was cool there but when I got home I was almost lost it...it was soooooo dark red that when I looked in the mirror I did not recognize myself...It was horrible to say the least..so Tonight I went back and told her that I needed soething different NOW and she put blonde highlights in my red hair and it looks sooooooooo much better! I love my cut too!

Finally my vacation is here and I am super excited that I can get some qualtiy time with my family and friends!

Update

I have been a really BAD blogger lately and I am sorry for that...I have no excuses for you either except I have been lazy!
So here is what has been going on...nothing much. On Wednesday I had my first snow day. It was unexpected and I was extremely happy to see it on TV in the Am, but as my day went on I wished I was at school! Morgin drove me NUTS. She screamed for no reason and decided that she prefered to be naked instead of clothed all day. But here is the funniest part. If she peed on herself she got totally pisssed off and kept saying bad pee! It was really humerous. Thursday was back to the normal grind of school. Than on Friday....ANOTHER SNOW DAY!!! This time I was so excited! I really enjoy having un planned days off and I still get paid! When I was a sub I hated snow days becasue that meant no money for me...now I could care less if I get a snowday. Friday evening we went over to the Charlton's for dinner. Morgin and Seth played magnificently together. Jen and Roland have a Wii and I am totally hooked! I want one so bad! So we went on the search for one today and instead of finding a Wii we came home with a new TV. Yes we finally broke down and bought a LCD TV. It is so cool! It looks great in our living room and just in time for the super bowl!
Today I also went and saw 27 Dresses with Becky. It was nice to get out and do something with her. She has been my friend for 15+ years and we never get to do anything together. I am so used to her living in Potsdam that I forget that she lives 10 minutes away. It was a nice day!
