7 Months...a little late!!!

During the last month Brady has become quite the little talker! He says MaMA and DaDa and BaBa all the time! He also has tried many different kinds of table food! I can't believe the things he will eat! What ever you put in front of him he will eat! This is very different from Morgin, she was picky right from the get go! He got no new teeth this month...he still has only 5! He was very close to crawling and wanted to crawl very badly! He is a sweet little boy! HE also has become a pro at going to sleep by himself. We put him in his bed and 5 minutes later he is out! Again very different from Morgin! Happy 7 Month Birthday buddy!! (Sorry its a little late!)

Meanwhile Brady fell asleep!

Too cute!

On Wednesday we went to Enchanted Forest and we brought extra hands, Aunt Jamie! She was such a great help! We were able to leave the kids and actually ride a ride together! Jamie and I rode some slides and so did Eric and Jamie. Morgin was glad to have her there...she made her ride all of the dry rides with her! Brady loved the water and splashed away! Morgin loved the kiddie slides and we had to bribe with ice cream in order for her to leave! We had a great time! I am glad that we are able to do things like this with our kids! Seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they are having fun makes everything worth it!

Rewind Wednesday #5

I posted Rewind Wednesday a couple of hours early because we are heading to Enchanted Forest Water Safari tomorrow morning....enjoy!!!
Here we are at Becky and Bill's Wedding 8/14/2005. I went with Becky to get her hair done and had mine done as well.....then as I was helping set up the ceremony site...it starts to pour! Here I am all done up and then my hair totally curls back up! If you look closely you will see Morgin in my belly! I was 6 months pregnant at this point! I am glad that I got to share Becky's special day with her!

Our Little Crawler

Here he goes!!!
See his knee? That is the way he crawls!!

Here he is!!!

It seems like Brady has been getting his way around the house for about a month now, but he was army crawling/rolling his way around the rooms. Yesterday (even through all of the drama) he began to go on all fours!!! He is now getting into all of Morgin's toys (hehehe...I love it!! I have been warning her for months that she needs to make sure all of her toys are picked up because her brother would get them.....and now that has come true!!!) It is sooo cute to see him moving about quickly...It is a pain the butt because he is into my things too! He even is pulling himself up onto things. I think he may be walking pretty quickly as well!

Sophia's Birthday Party

Sprinkler Fun! (My kid always has to pee!!!)

Daddy and Brady

They even had a parachute!!

On Sunday we headed up to Malone to see Eric's cousin's Angie and her family and Mike and his family. We made our rounds and went to see all of Eric's aunts that live up there and then we rushed home to go to Sophia's 6th birthday party. The Hatch's had all sorts of fun activities for the kids (and there were a ton!) to do!And also a ton of great food! Unfortunately the baby got hungry and I found it easier to take him home and feed him, meanwhile the rain came and the party was cut short. It was a good time and we are glad that we were able to celebrate Morgin's buddies birthday with her! Happy Birthday Sophia!!!

Update

When Brady woke up this morning he was back to his old self. His lip is not that swollen and he ate his cereal without a problem! We are still taking him to the appointment to have checked out. Eric couldn't get the day off so he is leaving work at 10:30 to make it home in time for the appointment.
In other news, WE HAVE A CRAWLER!!!! He was crawling all over this morning!

My Poor Little Man!!!

This morning, Brady, Morgin and I were playing on the floor and Brady leaned forward to grab a toy and he fell on top of it and immediately started screaming. I flipped him over and there was blood everywhere! I scooped him up and took him into the bathroom and examined the situation and realized that it was no normal cut or scrap. I called the pediatrician and they recommend that I take him to the ER. So I call my mom to watch Morgin and no answer...call my mother in law....no answer....so I racked my brain and the only one I could think of was Christina Hatch..She is 13 and right up the street and really good with Morgin. So I called her mom and she said drop her off! Brady and I were off! We got in really quickly and by that point the bleeding had slowed down considerably. They examined him and noticed the same thing I had that the flap of skin that connects his upper lip to his gums had been severed. They called ENT and they recommend that he be seen in the next day or so and that sometimes these need to be repaired surgically.

Lets pray that he does not need surgery!!! He ate a bottle and seemed ok. The swelling has gone down quite a bit. Right now he is sleeping and I am waiting for a nurse from ENT to call me back for the second time.

It is amazing to me how strong I can be when needed. I had to keep Morgin calm because she started to scream and cry that her brother was bleeding so I had to distract her and at the same time try and calm Brady down. After all was said and done and we had gotten home, my mom came over and watched the kids while Brady slept so that I could go and get Formula because I was completely out!! In the car on the way to Target....I cried my eyes out! This warranted a call to the prison...which is always a pain in the butt!!

Congrats!!!

Congrats are in order for Eric's Dad Brent and his girlfriend Dee. They have set the date!!!! Yup, Brent is taking a step that we never thought he would ever take again and getting married!!! The date is August 7, 2010. 2 days before our 7th anniversary! Morgin is going to be a flower girl and Brady is a ring bearer and Eric the best man!! Should be a great day, We are looking forward to it!
CONGRATS DAD AND DEE!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Swimming

Today we took Morgin and Brady to Brenda's house so that they could swim. Morgin is improving on her swimming so much! I am so proud of her. She kicked and "reach and pulled" her way around the pool and didn't need Daddy's help at all! She is still a little weary of jumping in the pool after she fell in June and went way under water but we are working on it with her and hopefully soon she will gain her confidence back! Brady had a ball! We bought him a little boat that he could float in. He kicked away and laughed and leaned over the side and splashed! He had soooo much fun and he was super cute! It was a great time for all of us!

Evolution of a room

Yesterday, Eric and I painted the playroom. This is the 3rd time in 4 years we have painted it. We opted for a light green color. The "playroom" started out as our "den." We had our computer desk and futon and we were able to have more seating in there for get together's. Well, then we had Morgin and the toys started to take over! So we decided to make it a playroom and the couch was given away and it became the toy room.

When we first moved in here we painted the room a yellow color. I was pregnant for Morgin at the time and was under strict orders to stay away from the house until the painting was done, so while I was gone Eric, my Mom and My sister painted the den. When I came into the house I thought I was going to cry. The color was awful!!!! The yellow was so bright you had to put sunglasses on in order to walk in the room. So after Morgin was born we painted the room yet again. This time I opted for a red color. I was going for a den/study room and thought the red was a calming color and I thought it looked great! Now 4 years later we have decided to paint the red a more neutral color so that when we do decide to sell it will not defer people from buying. I like the green but it is taking some getting used to!

The yellow

the red! The New ColorThe new set up!

We are going buy a cabinet for the corner where the shelve with Dora on it is and the toy's are all going to be put away!

When we first moved in here there was this ...........

in the playroom. We just put a piece of sheet rock up to cover it. Well yesterday we decided that we are going to build built in shelves here! On Thursday, when Eric comes home the kids are going to the sitters and he is going to do it! Then the playroom will be completed!

Can-Am Parade

Buddies
Brady...OHHH so tired!

Lee and the kids

Brady and I
On Saturday morning I packed the kids up and took them to the Can-Am parade in Sackets. Eric stayed home to start the priming of the playroom. The parade as always was a blast! There were a ton of bands and lots of candy! The kids danced and collected candy the whole time. It was a great time and I was super glad that the weather was nice and not too hot! Last year, It was sooooo HOT that I thought I was going to die! I was pregnant and the drink I brought was so warm that I couldn't drink it and I ended up dehydrated and laying on the couch for hours while Morgin destroyed the house because Eric was working. So I was glad that I had a better time this year than last!

Couples Dinner #2

The guys!
The girls!

Mackenzie and Jen

Mackenzie and Kristen

Friday night us and 5 other couples headed out to Foxy's for a couples dinner. All of us have 2 kids (or 2nd on the way!) and so it is always nice to get away for an evening with other adults. This couples night we added another couple, Matt and Mackenzie! It was a so wonderful that they were able to join us. It was a wonderful night filled with good conversation and company! My camera's batteries died half way through dinner so these are the only pics I was able to get!

Already!!!

We no longer need the baby bathtub! It makes me a bit sad that Brady is getting so big soooo fast! But that is life!
Morgin and Brady took their first bath together this morning and they both loved it! Brady splashed and Morgin played with her ducks and things! It is so much easier that I can give them a bath together!

Rewind Wednesday Week #3

This is Eric, my mom and I at Eric's graduation from the Corrections Academy. This was October 15, 2004. My mom, Eric's mom and dad and I drove down to watch the graduation. It was really cool to see him in the formation as they walked into the ceremony. We also got to watch the guys march outside. That was really neat! Eric graduated with about 30 other CO's. It was a wonderful day and I will never forget how proud I was of him!
(PS> I will never cut my hair that short again! It looks awful!!!)
(pps> I know this post is a day late.....I ran out of time yesterday!)

Kite Flying Adventure

Our Barbie Kite

Morgin and I Flying it

Brady Watching the Kite

So Sunday, It was super windy so we decided that we would go up to the park and fly a kite with Morgin and Brady. It was super windy and the kite went right up into the air with out having to run with it. Morgin had a great time helping me keep the kite up in the air. Brady sat in the stroller and watched the kite the whole time. It was a great time! The wind ended up taking the kite out of my hands when Eric was trying to wind the string back up and it broke, so we took the kids over to the playground to play for awhile. then we went out to dinner. It was a great family fun filled afternoon!

10 Year Reunion

This past weekend was my ten year reunion. Friday night was a meet and greet at Spencer's in Chaumont. This was so much fun! Since Eric had to work, my friend Carmen and I decided that we would ride together there. We saw so many people we hadn't seen in like oh yeah 10 years! My friend Jess and I were expecting to see each other but we had no idea that we reconnect so quickly. It was so nice to see everyone even people I never thought would ever show up. This made me super excited for Saturday Night.

Myself, Jess, and Keitha

April and Julie (Never thought I would see them there!)

Then Saturday Night came, Carmen and her husband Jason, Eric and I and Jessica rode to the Rustic. The girls were so full of excitement on the ride there because we had had so much fun the night before.

Here we are in the car on the way there

Then we got there.....Hardly anyone was there. We thought it was becasue it was a bit early still so we had a few drinks. Then decided we would eat. A few more people showed up, but there only ended up being about 20-25 people from our class were there. We made the best of it though. We played darts, mingled and were ready to leave by 11:30! It was a great time!
