Great Grandma (AKA: MA)

My great grandmother who is 90 is in the hospital and they didn't have much hope for her to make it through the night. My mom went to Syracuse today to visit her and said that things are looking up and they are doing a bunch of tests on her pancreas to check for cancer. There is also talk of a pace maker. So I need your help to keep her in your prayers!

Thanks a million!

Fun in the Sun!!

Eric and his girls!
The Girls going down the huge slide!!
Morgin painting with Cream Cheese
Kaedin painting!

Saturday we took a trip to the Cream Cheese Festival in Lowville. It was a lot of fun! Mike, Lynn, Aaron, Kaedin and Riley met us there and unlike most festivals we were not too bored! There were a ton of things for the kiddos to do. The best part was seeing how Kaedin and Morgin got along! They hadn't seen each other since March and they instantly attached themselves to each other and never left each others side for the rest of the day!

After the festival we headed back to our house and the Steven's followed us. We hung out the rest of the day and played games and the girls had a blast! It was sooooo nice to see them again. We are so thankful that they now live an hour away versus the 5 hour trip to PA!.

Friday Night Excitement

Usually on Friday and Saturday nights we can tell that the bars have closed because of the LOUD/ RUDE drunk people that walk by our house at exactly 2:15. Last night was no exception. However, these rude/loud drunk people decided that they were going to have a corner party at Home Deli. They stood on the corner with the loud thumping music that actually was shaking our house! They were laughing and having a good ole time! I had had enough after about 2 minutes. So I go down stairs with all intentions of walking right over to them and telling them to get their drunk asses home. But Eric talked me out of it and we decided that it was better for our home/cars/ and self to call the police. So we called the police...they came in about 2 minutes and broke up the party and sent them packing on their way!

What a night!!!

So I change my mind a lot!

We have found a bedding set that we liked better for baby Brady. Here is the picture of it!

I got the border for the other bedding set and we tried to pick out a paint color that would look good in his room and had no luck. While we were at the mall we decided to just check out Burlington Coat Factory to see what crib bedding they had. Eric fell in love with this immediatly. I had to look at it for awhile and then decided that I liked it better than the other one we had picked out. We bought it and many of the accessories and so now it is official!

24 Weeks

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going by! It seems like just yesterday we were coming back from Florida wondering if we might be pregnant!
This pregnancy seems to bringing on the same old things I felt with Morgin but WAY earlier! For instance I was able to sleep with Morgin throughout the night with out getting these horrible cramps in my legs until about the last month. Not this pregnancy...I get the leg cramps now! Not that I am complaining though because I have been truly blessed! I am just amazed that two pregnancies in the same person can be soooo different from each other!
This weekend is filled with cleaning out the babies room and heading to Utica to spend the day with Mike, Lynn and the kids! I am so glad that they are closer now! It is so much easier to get together without having a 4 hour drive that stands in our way!

Sophia's Birthday Party

Here is the Proof... She really did sit!!!

On Sunday we went to Sophia's 5th Birthday party at a local kids salon. The girl's got manicures and pedicures. I was absolutely shocked that Morgin actually sat for the entire time and didn't scream when the girl touched her feet. I can't believe how much of a girl she has become! I was never like that..I was more into building forts and playing/fighting with the boys! They had two girl's doing the pedicures and manicures and then the girl's had to switch. While the other girls were getting their feet done Morgin got to dress up with dress-up clothes. She chose to be Snow White! Too cute!

Morgin had a blast! Thank you for inviting us Sophia it was AWESOME!!!

Sassy

Where do toddlers learn to become sassy?
My daughter is so mouthy at 2 I am scared to see what she will be like as a teenager!
All she does is sass me when I try to discipline her...I am so sick of being sassed that I start sounding like my mother...which drives me crazy!
Here is the latest example of Morgin's sassiness....
Me: " Morgin stop jumping on the couch!"
Morgin: "Don't talk to me like that!"
Me: "To timeout you go!"
Morgin: "NO"
As I always say......WHAT A KID!!!

It a wonder....

Now I know that I shouldn't be saying this but it's a wonder that we have yet to make a trip to the emergency room with our so brave and fearless 2 year old! She has been pushing the limits all day! Jumping from coffee table to couch when I'm not in the room to jumping down and skipping 3 stairs at my sister's house! I just hope and pray that she continues to be lucky!
On another note....my day started out pretty interestingly today. While I was in the shower, Morgin found her Flintstones Vitamins in the bathroom. She figured out how to open the CHILD PROOF LID and continued to eat the rest of her vitamins! When I get out of the shower I knew that she was being to quiet and she was up to no good. I go out into the living room and there she is, on the couch with the empty vitamin container! Yup she ate all of her vitamins! Luckily there were only 15 or 20 left. BUT STILL!!!!
I called the doctor's office and the on call doctor called me back and suggested that I call poison control! So I had to call poison control and they informed me that she would be fine but if the vitamins had iron in them we would have had to go to the emergency room to have her stomach pumped!
What a KID!!!
Here is the lesson for all my friends that are parents: Don't buy vitamins with extra Iron in them! They can be very dangerous!

A Ton of Home Improvements in a week!!!

Tuesday the mud room was completed and card were moved in.

Wednesday we had our new carpet layed! It looks AMAZING!!! It makes our living room look so much bigger! I love it. Usually we seem to be plush kind of people but when I saw this Berber I know that it would be much more durable and hide any stains better! So that is what we chose!! I am super excited that we finally aren't embarrassed by our carpet and can have people over! YAY!!!

A Light at the End of the Tunnel

The Mud Room With Baseball Cards in it!!!

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the babies room. All of the sports cards have been moved into the finished mud room! YAY!! I ordered the border for the babies room and then a few days later got an email from the company stating that it had been discontinued. I started to cry but then searched for hours for another company that might have it as well. That turned out to be a big waste of time. So now we had to pick out a different crib bedding set for the baby. I then spent another hour looking at a million and one crib bedding sets and finally found one that I like but don't love yet! I really liked the first one we picked out so it was really hard for me to find one that compared. If you know anything about me you know that for some odd reason I HATE green. I don't wear it, Morgin doesn't wear it, and I would never buy a green car....every single bedding set that I kind of liked was green but due to my weird obsession I just couldn't do it.
We decided on a sports theme for the babies room (SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!). I ordered the border and it should be coming anytime. In the mean time we have to go through some more things in the babies room and it will be ready to paint!!! Then new carpet is going to be layed and then we are ready to set it up! Won't be too long now!

Here is the set we picked out!!!

Already

ME: "Morgin get over here right now...I am late and we need to do your hair!"
Morgin: "OK Mommy, Here I come!"
Me: "Thank you"
Morgin: (Looking down at my shoes as I do her hair) " WOW MOMMY COOL SHOES!!!!"

Disappointed!!!

I got up this morning ready to do like 4 or 5 posts and I have all the pictures that I need to show and I search and search and search for the camera cord so I can download the pictures and since we got our new carpet and spent 40 dollars to go to the dump I cannot find my camera cord! I will ask Eric today when I go to see him in Waterloo where he put it and update you all later!

September 1st already!!!

Tomorrow is the day that all us teachers are heading back to work...I have very mixed feelings about it. On one hand I am ready to start a new year with new kiddos and do what I love doing. On the other hand I am going to miss all of the fun days of summer! I am going to miss spending all my days with Morgin and her cute little personality and of course my hubby! I do feel that with the school year in full swing my pregnancy will go EVEN FASTER...this makes me both happy and sad! To know that I will never be pregnant again is sad but to have our little boy bless our lives is so much more exciting!

Now on to what I really got on here to blog about...Our final summer trip to Old McDonald's Farm!

Feeding the Camel

On Thursday last week Jen, Mackenzie and I packed up the toddlers and went to Old McDonald's Farm. We were super lucky because Lori, Morgin's sitter gave us this gift certificate that her husband won for the Farm...It included all admission and rides that they have there for up to 10 people! We had a blast! The kids were super tired afterwards that they all took LONG naps!!!

Morgin and Seth Petting Lamby

Morgin's Pony Ride

The Three Buddies!!

Then on Thursday Jen, Kristen and I headed down to the State Fair to see the Toby Keith concert! It was AMAZING!!! We had a lot of fun walking around before the concert people watching and eating so good ole fair food!

I am truly blessed to have such WONDERFUL friends! Thank you all for a great summer!! We love you and can't wait to see what the next year brings!
