Hope, Faith and Love: February 26th

First of all let me start off by saying...I KNOW JEN.....I have a been a very bad blogger lately with Morgin being sick and stuff I feel like I cannot catch my breath! I PROMISE TO BE BETTER!!!!

So now here is the update....Let me take you back a very long week ago! Last week on Tuseday Morgin was taken to the Dr's and sure enbough another ear infection....So that was Tuesday..On Friday, Eric took her to the sitters so that he could get things done around the house and when he picked her up she had this nasty little cough..(more to come about last Friday night below!) So we thought lets watch her and see how she does and she is on antibiotics so it can't be anything serious...boy were we wrong! Saturday she seemed fine and we hmmmed and hawed about taking her to be seen but thought we always jump to taking her to the Dr's when ever she has anything wrong so we will wait..Well Sunday AM Eric left for work and when Morgin woke up she had a temp of 102.2 and that horrible cough! So I called the DR at 8 o'clock and we couldn't get in to 2:30 so we stayed at home and my poor baby layed on the couch all day. Then we go to the Dr's and she checks her over and she thinks that it is probably the flu even though she has had a flu shot...So we get the flu test done and the Dr calls back with in the hour and now Morgin has RSV!!!!!! Can this kid get a break??? Well that is not the end of our saga for this week and our Dr's office visits. On Wednesday Morgin kept telling us that it hurt when she peed...so off we go to the DR's and now Morgin has a yeast infection...this poor child!

Now for the best news of this blog....On Thursday Morgin had an appointment with ENT and guess what she is getting TUBES put in her ears on February 26th...I was so relieved that she is finally getting taken care of!!!

Well now on to the fun stuff...Last Friday night a very dear friend turned 30... Jen. She had a get together at First National Beef and Brew and then at the Paddock Club.It was a blast. We met some really cool people and Eric had a few too many beers! It was such a great time that I will cherish the memory for years to come ( I would have to say the best part was the ride home when Jen sat in Morgin's car seat and Amanda was in the front seat, Jen, Rod and Roland in the back seat..along with Jen and Eric in the hatch of the Nitro!) It was a great evening and I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life! We also purchased a Wii...It is so much fun and Eric and I play it non stop!

Yesterday I decided on a whim that I was going to get my hair cut and colored..so when I got there my hairdresser convinces me to go RED..It was cool there but when I got home I was almost lost it...it was soooooo dark red that when I looked in the mirror I did not recognize myself...It was horrible to say the least..so Tonight I went back and told her that I needed soething different NOW and she put blonde highlights in my red hair and it looks sooooooooo much better! I love my cut too!
