Profile ShotWe had our ultrasound...our last little glimpse at the baby before the birth. We were super excited about it that I had a hard time sleeping the night before. We decided that we were going to make it a family affair and have Morgin go with us...while in the morning I was reconsidering just us and Morgin because she tends to not like to sit for an extended period of time. So at 9:00 when we had to be there at 9:45 we called Mary...Eric's step mom and asked her to come and sit in the waiting room so that if Morgin needed an escape she could go with Grandma for a walk or something. This worked out great because we get into the room and the tech turns down the lights and Morgin starts saying she is scared. She sat in the room for about 5 minutes before we needed to call for grandma! The more I thought about it...when Morgin looked at that screen she did not see a baby all she saw was black and white fuzz! So were were really grateful that Grandma was there to help us out!
His FaceNow on to the Ultrasound. At first the baby was not cooperating. He had his legs and arms facing my spine and was curled up into a ball. I told the tech...please you have to try again! So she went and did other measurements and came back to him and here is the picture of what we saw.
It's a BOY!!!At first I said to the tech.."i see three lines..that means its a girl." She told me no what you are seeing is a penis and scrotum! I started crying I was sooooo excited! The rest of the ultrasound went off without a hitch. The baby looks great. He is very active and has all of the necessary parts! We are so excited that we have one of each and thank god everyday that we have two children that are so far very very healthy!
