My Monday

After the weekend from hell, I went to bed last night thinking that this new week would be so much better. Well so far I have been wrong (so far!)

At 4:22am, I am awoken by my cat meowing. I instantly recognized that meow as I am hunting! I knew that there was a mouse that she was chasing. I went to sit up and I hear the cat jump up on the bed and I see the mouse run across my bed! I scream at the top of my lungs!

Picture this: I am standing on the bed watching the cat chase this tiny baby mouse through my room! When I see that the cat has chased the thing across the room, I run to the door and run down stairs. I grab Eric's super heavy gloves and put socks on and grab a tupperware bowl. My intention was to put the bowl on top of the mouse until I could call my father in law but that didn't work. So I chase this stupid thing around my room and I am trying to get the cat to realize that the mouse had gone under the bed and was not in the corner as the cat was searching. As I was doing this the mouse ran right across my foot! Again, I scream! Thank God I didn't wake the kids! Then finally I see my opportunity....I put my hand right over that thing and scooped it up (saying "Ohhh, My God! over and over!) I ran down stairs (still saying "Oh my God!") and open the door and throw it out the door!

Oh my! The entire thing made my adrenaline start pumping so I can't go back to sleep...I turn on the TV and watch FX Capara TV. They have some pretty nice cars! Then I finally fall asleep and Then Brady wakes up at 5:30!

Why do these things always happen when the guys are away! I'm sorry, but I laughed as I was reading this, but my reactions would have been the same as yours. Why was your weekend so bad?

Holy crap!! Nice job scooping it up, that's hardcore. You should take the cat to hunting school, so next time she/he takes care of it for you!

That does not sounds like the way to start your day, gross! You took one for the team though and got rid of it!
