Morgin and Ava

The fourth grade teacher in my building and I went to high school together and I actually graduated with her husband. She has a daughter that is exactly 1 month younger than Morgin named Ava. She also has a 1 year son named Owen. We have been talking about getting the kids together to play since September. Well today was the day that our schedules finally hooked up! We were going to go to Kidnastics but I really wanted to be outside and we both thought that our kids needed some fresh air, so we decided to take the kids to the zoo. Morgin and Ava hit it off right off the back. The ran around and were inseparable! The even held hands through most of the zoo. (When Morgin wasn't busy picking "randilions") We were having such a great time that we decided afterwards to go to McDonald's for lunch and the girls played their little hearts out.

In the car on the way home from McDonald's, Morgin says to me, "Ava is my new best friend! I love her!" It was so cute! Janelle and I vowed to do this more often because all Ava could talk about was Morgin!
