First Time on Ice Skates

Today we went to one of Morgin's friends birthday party and it was an ice skating party! I was bit nervous myself of getting on skates after all of these years and to try and help my baby girl along too was getting the best of me! But I learned that skating is a lot like riding a bike...it's not something that you forget! Morgin had a rough start at ice skating! We couldn't find a walker for her so I thought I would just try it without...well Morgin had no part of that! She fell like 100 times and started crying. So I skated her to the side and sat down and waited for a walker. The poor kid was crying so hard and I really felt strong that she was not going to let that get the best of her! Finally a kid let go of 1 for a brief second and I snatched it up! Morgin came out with me and after a little bit she was laughing and having fun and then would not let the walker up to give someone else a turn! She later told me that she loved skating and that she wanted to go again tomorrow! I will post pics when my school email starts working again!
