This kept him occupied for a VERY long time!
This morning we headed to the hospital for Brady's second set of tubes. He was scheduled to be there at 8:15 and I was really nervous about him not having anything to eat or drink...but he did great! He never cried at all! (Until they took him away!) He was such a trooper and the nurses kept coming in to see his "big beautiful brown eyes" I seriously think that all of the nurses in the ambulatory surgery area stopped by to visit! His surgery went great and he woke up a bit scared. They ended up calling me back to the 1st recovery room because he was so scared..but the second he was in my arms he stopped crying and was great! Dr. Hillerman said that Brady had a lot of thick mucus behind his ear drums and that he has "very bad ears" and that he expects him to do better with these new tubes but he thinks he will be need to go back in 8-10 months to have his adenoids removed. They will not remove adenoids until the child is close to 2....but we hope that we do not have to put him through another surgery EVER!
