Getting It put in!
Today Morgin and I went to a local hair salon to get pink hair extensions put in our hair as a way to support breast cancer research.
When I first got pregnant for Morgin 5 years ago, Eric's step mom Mary was battling the disease and when we told her that we were pregnant was the same day that she found out that the cancer was progressing rapidly and that the only way to cure her was to have chemo. She was dead set against the chemo until 4 hours later when we called to tell her we were pregnant. Mary said that in that moment that she realized that she would fight harder than ever so that she could see her grandchild. I thought that it was a fitting tribute to Mary for both of us to get the extensions and I am glad that we did! They look really cute and it is for such a good cause! Let's all pray that they find a cure soon!
