On Friday we went to the Tim McGraw concert and the opening act was Montgomery Gentry. It was a great concert and we had a BLAST! Before we went to the concert we went to Syracuse a little early and explored the State Fair. I got a deep fried Milky Way bar and some candy. Eric purchased LOTS of beer! We walked around and people watched. Then we ate dinner at the fair. Eric and Brad were having a contest to see how many bites it took to eat a hot dog. Brad decided that he could eat a whole hot dog and bun in 1 bite! He did it but was disqualified due to a technicality! So he had to try it again! He ate 2 hot dogs in 1 bite! It was quite amusing to watch!

At the concert we had 17th row seats off to the right of the stage. They were amazing seats! The first act was Montgomery Gentry and I had a hard time seeing because of a few BIG cowboys hats in front of me. Finally they separated and enjoyed the show better! Montgomery Gentry was really good and Eric said he couldn't see how Tim McGraw could top that...he ate his words! Tim McGraw was AMAZING...and AMAZING to look at! He puts on a great show! The whole time you are up and singing and dancing! It was the best concert I have ever been to! After the concert we went back to the hotel and drank and played cards until 2 am! The best part was that we got to sleep in until 10 am! I haven't done that in years and as much as it was nice to be away from the kids, it is even nicer to be home with them! (After all it is where I belong)
