2nd degree burns are NO fun!

On Thursday, I was making dinner for the kids. As I was pulling the cookie tray out of the oven and Brady came running and was going to run right to the open oven. I instantly put my hand out to stop him and as I did the cookie tray fell and landed on my leg. It hurt really bad but my concern was getting the oven closed so that Brady wouldn't get hurt. The result was a nasty burn on my leg. (I will not put a picture up as it is pretty gross looking right now!) It has been painful but I would much rather be hurt than my boy! I have spraying the heck out of it with antiseptic wash and then coating it with Dermoplast. I hope it starts to feel better before we head to Sesame Place later this week!
