MY BIG NEWS!!!!

I am going to be teaching first grade at Knickerbocker Elementary!!!!

Let me give you some back ground information. In May, when the retirements were announced I felt it was the perfect opportunity to get into a bigger building! I set up a meeting with HR administrator and we discussed it and he recommended that I write a letter of intent. So I wrote my letter of request and sent it in on May 27th. Then it was a waiting game until the 2nd to last day of school! There I was talking to another Knick teacher and she said that they had a first grade opening! So that day I emailed the HR admin. Then on the very last day for teachers, Mr. Fralick told me that I was moving but he wasn't sure where I was going. Then the waiting game started...UNTIL today! I am so excited! I loved Starbuck but it is very small and I wished to be in a bigger school with more opportunities! Here is to a GREAT school year!
