Swirling Milk...really fun!
Thursday was Morgin's science fair at her school. She and I talked a lot about what we may do for weeks before. Than one day she was eating M&M's and she asked me what color melted fastest. The idea was then born for her project. We decided that we would test to see what color of M&M melts the fastest. She made a prediction.....brown. We glued 5 of each color onto a paper plate. Then we microwaved for 20 second intervals. Recording how many cracks we noticed on our chart. We did this for each of the 6 colors. Then we came to our conclusion.........RED melted the fastest!! After 80 seconds in the microwave the red had almost completely melted!
Thursday we set up her project at the science fair and she got a really good response! Many people were intrigued about the project! It was a great learning experience....her prediction was not right but we talked about how that is ok! She was a great little scientist!

That is an awesome project!! Now every time I eat M &M's I will think of Morgin :)
