Thank God for School!

I am so happy that we sent Morg's to school! It is the best thing we EVER have done for her! She is doing awesome and is such a different child!
A few years ago, I knew a child that was a great kid but at times was difficult. That child was sent to school and that kid became a completely different kid! The child was nicer and such a joy to be around after being sent to school! I remember thinking how different that child was! Jump a head a few years, and I now feel the same way about Morgin! In August for Brent and Dee's wedding Morgin had to be help down to get her old earrings out and new ones put in. Not tonight! She sat on my lap and let me put in her new earrings! She also used to be held down to get her toe nails cut. The other night she just sat there and let me do it! She doesn't cry anymore, she doesn't argue with EVERYTHING anymore..don't get me wrong she still argues with us but it is no where near as bad! She is so smart and can pick up everything quickly! She has changed so much in the last month and is such a great kid! We practiced writing her numbers the other night and the next day her teacher noticed how different they were from the previous day! It is so sad that she is growing up so quickly! I still say that NYS needs to change the laws when it comes to Universal Pre-k but am glad that she is doing well in kindergarten!
