Driving and Taking in the Sights

When I was little my mom would drive my sister and I around to check out the Christmas lights. We have tried to keep the same tradition with our kids. Tonight we drove around and did just that...checked out the lights. We started off over off of State St. and were a bit disappointed. We decided to drive around the South side and saw some neat lights. Then we drove over to the North side. As much as people complain about the north side...they have a lot of holiday spirit! Almost every house has lights on it and some have some fun blow up characters! It was a great evening with the kiddos and hubby!
