Snow Day

When I was little, we would have to turn on a radio to listen to see if we were delayed or closed. I remember how hard it was to stay awake through the songs for the next commerical break! Then if you accidentally fell back asleep you had to wait another couple of songs to hear the long awaited news! (or hope your mom caught it!) I remember I used to hear my school's name and still not believe it and wait for the next time they announced the closing...just to make sure! (Not much has changed I have to look like three times just to make sure I didn't read it wrong!)

I have to say how much easier it is just to turn on the TV and wait for the W's! Another thing that has not changed is that the excitement is still there! I still get just as excited as I did when I was a kid!
